Already in Brandenburg the youth priest Christian Weber invited within his work with rights wing radicals, young Israelis and Palestinian (see press articles).
Through those meeting start a dialog between the young people from Palestinian and Israel, and they ask to continue it under the "mediator land" Germany.
The first step of the project
The first's steps were made In Palestine and Israel by conversations with the partners organizations about the realizations of a youth exchange project.
The results of the conversations got a big push from the Arabian youth facilities as well as Jewish organizations in Germany; they all found the project interesting.
In here the young participates meets also young participators form Germany and Poland, therefore the young participators from all four countries that came from a different cultural and religious backgrounds, are involved and active in the preparation of the Project.
The Youngsters
All the involved youngsters work in youth organizations among other things, and take some part in the intercultural area .thereby they can show a certain expert's assessment. And the youngsters from Israel and Palestine are partly direct victims of the conflict.
Theme
The idea of the project is "to break through the vicious circle ".
And its about the vicious circles in the Middle East, that was developed from the conflict between Israel and Palestine. (This conflict breakout again in the second Intifada.)
In our project we are trying to bring the participators into the thought - that we shouldn’t make the distance between the sides bigger but to smaller and trough this to contribute to the safety of the region.
This we are trying to achieve trough the different conditions of this project.
The German Polish reconciliation process is a good example of a successful way to solving a conflict. The two states make after the 2-nd world war a reconciliation process that brings them in to a solution of the conflict between them.
The German -Polish reconciliation process should be in his solution a pushing inspiration for the Palestinian-Israeli dialog.
The project should be carried out in Germany, because Germany has good relations to Palestinians as well as to Israeli's.
Goals
A general purpose of the youth-meeting, could be the fact that the young participates from Palestine and Israel will learn actively the reconciliation process that happened in Europe and they can recognize trough the active participation the social life that possible. They can see that what worked here can work also in her homelands.
The meeting should help them by giving them knowledge, and with this knowledge they will have the competence to bring positive influence to the conflict.
The youngsters should till the end of the meeting to get rid of all there forms of discrimination to the others.
The youngsters should recognize that cultural variety of the positive things and to understand that the only way to fight the xenophobia, the hate and to live peacefully with the others is to work together.
These purposes should be reached by personal approaches.
Beside the so-called "general goals", the youngsters have give a personal example and become active as multipliers in their homelands
